The Target Audience
VOX music festival is open to anyone looking to discover new music. Those who want to listen to new artists and break away from mainstream music.
The goal is too also target this event towards those who aren’t necessarily looking for new music to listen to, but help others discover something new when they aren’t really looking.
This event would target those ages 16-24, but is ultimately open to anyone.

Based on the Target Audience…
Social Media: Use Instagram and TikTok to explore trends and news.
Shopping: Online shopping has become huge with this demographic, but so has shopping at small business/ boutiques.
Music: Spotify is the main streaming service that the target audience uses, as well as Apple Music.
Mail: Email seems to be the main way that the demographic receives mail, but the email has to be interesting and grab their attention, or else they’ll throw it away.
Advertising: Ads are mainly consumed through social media, the internet, and video sharing.

There’s many huge music festivals that already exist, such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, South by Southwest, Ultra, etc. So how do I make this music festival well known and stand out?
Other Challenges
Curating a number of artists to perform at the music festival.
To be inclusive and welcoming to anyone.
Finding a location and event space to hold the event.
Pricing and making it affordable to allow a lot of people to come.
Creative Ideas
- Having limited attendance, will allow for a smaller, more intimate community so the experience of the festival is more unique.
- Have a contest of whoever sees the most artists perform will have a chance to meet their favorite artist from the festival.
- An all day event, just 24 hours. Starting in the morning and going through the night.
- Have the festival in a more secluded space, but don’t keep the location a secret.
- An opportunity for smaller artists performing at the music festival to have a chance to perform with a bigger, well known artist.
